PLANNING & LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

• Assisted in AutoCAD drafting of landscape plans, hardscape plans, planting plans, and construction details.

• Participated in charrettes with clients on how to better use flight lines and compounds with minimal demolition and working with current conditions within codes and regulations.

• Created GIS maps to show infrastructure, utilities, and natural features like wetlands on sites.

• Saved a project 240-man hours with creating an accelerated process of modeling multiple military installations with AutoCAD and SketchUp.

• Generated 3D models to show existing conditions, topography, and how the different spaces would be used in short-term plans and long-term plans.

 

PROJECT SUPPORT

• Managed teams at multiple sites on how to complete their work and meet the deadlines properly and effectively.

• Provided health and safety documents, scope, and work plan to each team member before mobilizing to each site.

• Communicated with the project managers and coordinators weekly on project progress.

• Point of contact for data managers and team leads in the field for resolving problems.

• Worked with a project coordinator and travel coordinator to provide resources on-site, made sure all personnel had a hotel and transportation and equipment, and that the IT Team had up-to-date proprietary tools ready to get the job done.

 

TRAINING COORDINATOR

• Created training documents for Team Leads, Facility Locators, Data Collectors, Data Managers, and Catalogers.

• Scheduled all training activities related to the inventory project.

• Trained over 50 field personnel to conduct data collection using proprietary software on field tablets before site mobilization and on-site hands-on training.

• Improved processes and procedures of the inventory project.

• Led recalibration training for data collectors and data managers mobilizing to new sites to train for new procedures.

 

DATA MANAGEMENT

• Managed teams of data collectors and data they collected each day. Uploaded the data to the database and reported their progress weekly to the team leads.

• Performed daily quality control checks and paid attention to detail to confirm the correct information was collected.

• Continuously checking the scope to make sure everything was being followed and the project was being performed correctly.

• Worked with cataloging manager to resolve data conflicts in the database every week.

• Led the final process of final labeling 1,000 – 3,000 plus items that contained all the correct information about each item on multiple sites.
